Anyone who really, really understands the health insurance system?

I think I'd be better off risking my savings if I do end up with a life-threatening illness than paying that much money every month and reducing my spending on things that make me happy.

Anyone who really, really understands the health insurance system?

Thank you. That is a useful story. It's not clear to me whether the rates quoted are monthly or annual. If they are monthly and are in Argentine pesos,, I would be stunned (and delighted) to learn that they range from US$69 to US$95.

Anyone who really, really understands the health insurance system?

Still trying to figure out the healthcare system and health insurance in Buenos Aires. I have reached out to multiple insurers and am investigating others. Some cite insane rates (GeoBlue for expats -- $1,000 a month with a $1,000 deductible). Others deny coverage for anyone my age (72). One...

    Health Insurance Consultant

I am an expat who has been granted a one-year temporary residency in Argentina, which I intend to extend each of the next two years and then make it permanent. I am trying to find a health insurance policy that covers only Argentine health care, and find it all quite confusing. Can anyone...

    The mess called BancoCiudad

Does anyone know what is going on with BancoCiudad? I have been a customer since this past fall. Lately I’m often unable to withdraw money from ATM machines (because they have none). Today I went to two locations, each of which had long lines of people on the sidewalk trying to get in to...

    Bad bus service

Unfortunately I now can’t view the number because the bus doesn’t arrive. I’m now headed home in a taxi after waiting 20 minutes at another stop for the 160. Five 110 collectivos have stopped

Javier Milei Ended a DC-Sized Deficit in...Nine Weeks

Yes, and 67% of the country’s children live in poverty and shipments of food to food banks have stopped. Starving the poor is an easy way to reduce a deficit . The GOP in the USA has tried that for years

    Bad bus service

Is there a way to file a complaint about bus service? Today I was in a long line of people on Gascon at the corner of Corrientes waiting for collective 160. Collectivo 168 also stops there. In 28 minutes, four 168s stopped there. After 30 minutes the 160 finally arrived and was empty and refused...

    Another medical insurance question!

I'm considering purchasing a Cigna outpatient and inpatient insurance policy (covering Argentina only). It adds up to about $600 a month. Any suggestions or recommendations? I'd love to find something less expensive, but being over 60 makes that difficult
