    Not necessarily, we wouldn't mind drier weather. My wife has arthritis, we would consider other areas.... perhaps Jujuy, Salta, San Luis.

    No, I also live in Canada but originally from Argentina. I travel there often and I've never had an issue entering with US cash. This comes about based on all the new restrictions regarding buying US currency. As lamarque said and I hope he is right, you can bring up to $10k without any issues.

    Hi, My brother-in-law is traveling to Argentina from Canada later this week and is planning on bringing US currency with him. He was told not to, that he couldn't get into the country with cash. Is this true? He is only bringing like $2,500 tops. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Where and what is considered the driest climate in Argentina? I'm getting mixed information; Cordoba, Salta, Mendoza, San Juan, etc. My wife suffers from severe arthritis, and this weather is beneficial for her. TIA
