How good is your Spanish? If you consider yourself pretty fluent there are some Master's programs you could enroll in that only meet Friday and Saturday and you could get a student visa through that. Just in case your Spanish is above the level that the Español como lengua extranjera schools offer.

Update: I got the end date fixed, but because so much time had passed from when my residency was first granted, I couldn't get a copy from Migraciones's website. I'm going off of what my advisor told me that his contact in Migraciones told him. I left the country by bus for travel before...

Finally got this sorted out. I spoke to the person who gave me the visa, and he changed it to the correct date, so I'm not illegal anymore. I didn't have to pay a fine for renewing it since it was an honest mistake on his end. Yes, I'll be leaving the country before any 90-day deportation...
