precaria canceled a few days before a planned trip

Hi everyone, I had been able to renew my precaria and even went to Migraciones (near Avenida de Mayo) twice to make sure everything was going well because I faced a few bureaucratic hardships as I was working on my residencia. My latest precaria was supposed to valid until February 2, 2024...

Preparing for possibly starting residencia over again - any experiences?

Hi everyone, I know I've been pestering the forum a bit recently but I haven't had much success with Migraciones. I was given a precaria that lasts only 30 days and I had a flight to return to the country after that. I told Migraciones as such prior to leaving Argentina. My RENAPER...

Thanks! I was able to get my document legalized with the advice I got above (ask another friend to use their CUIT). However, I had to go to Migraciones today and it turns out they were shut down because of the paro (strike). I will probably go back there tomorrow unless anyone else has a better...

Problems legalizing a DNI document with Ministerio de Salud (medical DNI question)

Hi everyone I came to Buenos Aires for medical reasons and had lived here without the DNI prior to the pandemic. My bills in the US were unaffordable and after much research I realized I qualified for the DNI medico. For context: - I had to pay an overstay fee once (in 2017) - I spoke to...
