This lucky lady just won the biggest single lottery prize ever in the US. So she posed with a check for the sum & held a news conference.
I though if it had happened here she would have been kidnapped & held for ransom every hour on the hour.
Maybe it's because the US is a country of 320 million vs Arg. a country of 40million. Or maybe it's a question of ethics & poverty.

It cracks me up when they do this. They become a target for every con man and huckster on the planet (not to mention every fifth cousin they never met). I have much more respect for winners who call a good trust lawyer long before cashing in the ticket.

They are contractually obligated from what I hear (for publicity of the Lottery)

There's a cop car parked outside her house.

People have already been both defrauded and murdered in the US over lottery winnings. And sometimes both.

Some states permit the ticket to be cashed by a trust, some don't.
