Using duckduckgo.com - which doesn't track users so should give the same results for everybody - I searched on air fare discounts for seniors.

Within the first page I found lots of sensible results the most interesting IMO being

Exactly how useful that is may depend on what you have in mind. Is this to go from A-B or the bucket-list trip you were talking about going from A-W with all points in between?

Thoughts. I'm a senior but by your admission I'm a lot younger than you and already I'm becoming averse to 48hr journey times with three transit points or a twenty-three-and-a-half hour layover at KBP [1] just to save a little money. I now have to look after my health as well as my wallet.

Don't forget that BAExpat @ben is a travel agent and a very good one. Tell him what you want and, senior discount or not, he'll get you the best and/or cheapest and/or least exhausting flights available using trade resources that amateurs like you and I would be unable to access.

[1]Yes, I know it's closed for the time being

Thanks for the info. I Googled 'senior discounts' but didn't find anything. Air France had a page for senior discounts but it's no longer available.
I will try duckduckgo.com

I, too, have had to adjust my travels several times as I aged. First, no more 40 hours trips to Asia. Then no stops wherever possible. In 2023 I transited in Madrid and had a 'trifecta', delayed flight, lost luggage and sick as a dog with early stages of covid. Now, if I we can only get to our destination with a stop, I add an extra day to the trip so we can check in to a hotel and relax before continuing on to our final destination.

The latest adjustment: I returned from my latest trip, in January, with a serious back inflammation, probably from sitting erect for 11 hours. It still bothering me, 3 months later. I'll be using business class reclining seats on my future trips. They are ridiculously expensive ergo I'm looking for a discount.

I'm hoping for a few more good trips before I have to quit altogether.

I got some trips through Ben during covid. Last he told me he was no longer doing travel. I will contact him to see what he's doing.

Appreciate the kind words! Not doing travel for the time being, though - really should update my signature. That said, if there’s a straightforward question I can help resolve, I am more than happy to - just that I don’t check back here all that often these days.
Hope everyone here is doing well!

Straight question: any leads on ways for seniors to get discounts on international travel out of BA?

The Air Fance Senior Pass webpage is back
