Amazon books to Argentina

I have heard that you can order books from Amazon and get them to ship down here -- has anyone tried it? I'm just wondering if they get held up in customs, or if you have to pay a lot extra to receive them etc. My sister is coming in 6 weeks so trying to decide if it is easier to wait for her to bring them, or if they will actually get down here and through customs before then. Any thoughts on customs and what duties cost would be appreciated! Thanks

Hi, I ordered a book from them last year at it came directly....but there's no guarantee.....other times I buy things it goes through customs and I have to go to the "Correo" and pay the extra tax...I live in Pilar so it might help.
