No one dictated moral platitudes just their concern for unborn babies, and he specifically referred to partial birth abortion, a true monstrosity. Yes, we're from Texas but that doesn't make us midgets or want to eliminate evolution. You're being totally unreasonable. Yes there are some Texans that are narrow minded... but seriously, would any of them even be here? Now think how ignorant you sound when you have nothing but anger and stereotypes to defend a cause in which at least the opposing view deserves a right to have a say.

Partial birth abortion is not killing babies?

We could debate how many weeks if you want. The principle is the same, but if it had to be compromised, at least make sure the baby (or whatever else you want to call it in order to feel better about it) can't feel a thing. I has been established that this is around 10-14 weeks, if you're not smart enough to figure out you're pregnant in the first trimester you probably shouldn't be spreading your genes, but it's not the baby's fault so if you don't want it after the 12th-14th week then suck it up and give it up for adoption. And even having those parameters we can't be sure. It's just semantics, because I don't think it changes anything. Funny you know... if a woman is attacked by another person and has a miscarriage, it's considered murder in most jurisdictions... makes me think....

Why does every moralist assume that strong response equals anger. And just to further the thought, there is a generation or two that really needs to grow some major balls and get very angry about the rights and freedoms that have been taken away, modified and neutralized by some asshole from Texas.
