I listen to iTunes. Bought a bunch of music over the years and they have streaming songs as well (you don't pay for and can skip a certain amount of songs per hour), to pick by category. For the car, I create CDs from iTunes purchased music.
One of my sisters-in-law uses Deezer instead of iTunes, streaming music for a nominal charge.
I, also, don't like the radio stations available here.
That's unfortunately the only one I listen to on a constant basis.
But on the page (link at the end), you can access the previous 100% jazz broadcasts. I haven't turned on a TV in this city in over a year andi don't think that I've ever turned on the radio.
About once a year (or 2), I'll try to listen to "Morning Becomes Eclectic" from KCRW, but I just can't find the ganas to listen to a whole program.
But this is nothing new. I remember a three hour road trip when I was 19 where I arrived at my destination without having turned on the radio. And I was alone for the drive... and this was WAY before cell phones.
