I know that this should be put under the food forum but there is much more traffic on this one.

Does anyone know what allspice is called here or if it is even available other than in the chino market?

The web says the translation is pimenta dioica or pimenta inglesa but I have never seen these here.

Thanks,

I believe it's called "Pimienta Dulce". I think they use it in Budin Ingles.

Ha, funny coming from a guy who doesnt know what tailgating is..

Nooooo, "Pimentón Dulce" is paprika (which is made from ground up sweet red peppers).

Allspice is called "Pimienta Dulce" which is made from the seeds of the Pimenta dioica plant.

Suerte
