Apple Airport Express

Would the Apple Airport Express to connect to the wireless network for the internet be acceptable?

It's what I use. I have a modem from Fibertel, and it is connected to an Apple Airport Express. Works just fine.

Yes, airports express is ok to connect to modem for wifi access..

Yes, I used it in my old apartment here and it worked fine with me (fibertel as well). I even had it linked up to my amplifier (via the aux sockets) so I could play 'air-tunes' from the other side of the living room, without cables. That for me was the best thing about it. Now I have a Time Machine, which although has a great backup system, does not offer a separate jack for connection to a stereo / amplifier.
