Well, unexpected if you didn't have the Argentine Holidays tab of your Google calendar ticked off...Monday and Tuesday are "legal hoildays" in Argentina...and the info has been avaible on line since January 1st (if not earlier)...

The BCRA publishes bank holidays which can be found here: https://www.bcra.gob.ar/BCRAyVos/Feriados-bancarios-2023.asp
Both Monday and Tuesday are also bank holidays, and Thursday is a national bank strike, so expect Wednesday to be busy.

I would have checked the holiday schedule tomorrow morning before driving to Punta Alta, but I already knew that Monday and Tuesday were holidays, not because I have the Argentine Holidays tab of (my)Google calendar ticked off...Actually, I check the holiday schedule in a new google search before I leave the house to drive to Punta Alta or Bahia Blanca...
