Argentina Ranks 4Th On Cato Institute Misery Index

Well, I had a look at the Wikipedia article on the Cato institute and see where it says Charles Koch. How does that tell us "all we need to know about the Cato institute?" As a matter of fact, I like what I read about the Cato Institute in the Wikipedia article. This is probably due to the fact that I am indeed a "reactionary" who wants to see a return to the economic conditions of a previous era (the Reagan 80's and the Clinton 90's).

From the Wikipedia article: The Institute's website states, "The mission of the Cato Institute is to originate, disseminate, and increase understanding of public policies based on the principles of individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and peace."

As for Charles Koch, let him speak for himself (following an "introduction" by Nick Sorrentino):

Now, if by posting these links, I am being used, I am prepared to be used as often as possible.

I think Ron Paul's heart is in the right place, but his reading list is, well...rather limited and dogmatic. Operating on those principles, the Cato Institute does its utmost to consign the largest number of people possible to utter misery - "the greatest good for the smallest number" sums it up pretty well.

How can the Cato institute even begin to "consign the largest number of people possible to utter misery" by supporting the principles of individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and peace?

Perhaps because its so-called principles are utterly bogus or, in the case of Ron Paul, simply delusional?

Do you know what a rhetorical question is?

Yes. Now, why don't you just answer a question with an answer...for a change?

PS: If possible, one in which you explain your "principles" rather than simply calling other positions bogus or those who hold them delusional.

I've been hear 7 months now. Moved here permanently as my better half did not like the US. Lmao!!! And we lived in Miami Beach; where I grew up.

Ok... So my opinion on misery here. A great majority of people are miserable as f$&@!!
Everywhere you go there are people who gloomy faces and ways complaining.
I live it first hand. I work for an American software company and she works for a big AR food Corp. And she still complains about mostly everything. This country is most definitely a miserable country. I've seen poverty in my world travels and have not seen people be the way the Argies are here. They are even miserable in Miami Beach. They move there and end up having to work shot jobs to have way less than they had in AR.

My conclusion... Yes, AR probably be ranked top most miserable countries.

Argentinean saz, pais de mierda, me voy por eso. But when coming to the US, also complains saying:

If I had to live in Miami Beach, I'd be miserable too, but at least Dave Barry and Carl Hiaasen can illuminate the misery.
