An American journalist popped on here a few weeks/months ago (don't remember exactly) and I found a PRI radio report she did on ~How To Decide Which Argentine Fútbol Club to Follow.

Well she just put out a story on The Pasión of Fútbol in Argentina. (Basically, it not literally.) She did a Q&A with writer Eduardo Sacheri of the Academy Award winning "Los Secretos de los Ojos".

Argentina: Telling Stories Through Soccer

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Argentine writer Eduardo Sacheri has impish eyebrows and is downright punchy when he hears Americans use of the word "soccer," rather than "football."

The crime thriller "The Secret in Their Eyes," based on a novel by Sacheri, took home the prize for best foreign-language film at the Oscars this year, but before Sacheri found box-office success, he was best known in Argentina for his short stories about soccer...

It's pretty good. I've contacted her about the story and she says by all means hit "like" or "retweet" or whatever to show your approval. It only helps her to get green lights for more stories.

So a heads-up for all fútbol/soccer fans. And just Argentine pasión fans in general.
