A major conference is going on at the Vatican. Matters involving the family are being discussed. It seems that the Pope and other liberal bishops are prevailing in regard to promoting a more accepting attitude toward same sex relationships. I know that this will draw sarcasm from some readers but I believe what is happening in Rome is not to be trivialized as it affects vast numbers of people around the world. Whether you agree or not with the trend, it has to be said that the Argentine Pope is shaking things up:
