Argentine things you've been converted to....

Queso y dulce for dessert or for the merienda.

For the Fanta and Mate people, you´ve got to try Teteré! Invented in Paraguay but also popular in some regions of Argentina. Basically just make ice-cold lemonade or watered down orange juice and pour it into the maté like you normally do with hot water. Even in winter it will be difficult to go back to hot maté!

I love things being open late but I always get frustrated that there are no supermarkets open past 10 pm, except for the odd Chinese-owned market. Undoubtedly it is a security risk.

With the advent of warmer weather I found my alfahores getting a bit messy. I put them in the fridge and discovered it not only kept the chocolate from melting but improved the texture greatly over "normal" room temperature. (This observation applies only to Terrabusi "clasico" thus far.)

Melted alfajores are waaaaay better!
