My Brazilian wife has been rooting against Brazil the entire World Cup. It is because she was sure the games were fixed from the beginning. Add that to the immense money that rolls out of the games but none of it will go to the schools, hospitals, or other social programs in Brazil where it is really needed. It is her way to protest without actually being there.

I was hoping for a 10 - 0 score, but alas, it was not meant to be. However, the humiliation suffered by Brazil will get the people our of their daze and remind them of how they were robbed blind by the government for this world cup. Dilma's chances for re-election later this year just took a hit.
