Banned from entry for 8 years

Has there been any update regarding this? Has anyone also overstayed and been banned recently?

I’m from the US and I have overstayed back in 2022 and have been back to the country five times after that my most recent stay being October 2025. Of those five returns I have only stayed for about 2-3 weeks at a time and never had issues regarding rentry or leaving the country.

I plan to return sometime at the end of this year but I’m worried and curious if there have been any other cases like this. Any help or advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

OP had no knowledge he/she was already 🚫 banned and flagged in the system previously ,,,,, long before he/she arrived at the Ezeiza that day.

The real question now is:
Is there a way to find out if I am flagged in the system before I take a 17 hour flight?
 
20/20 hindsight the advice that was given at the time to appeal was wrong.

The opportunity to appeal is automatically and permanently lost after 10 days from the date the system has been flagged. OP probably was years late.
