There are some old posts on this subject but I wanted to see if anyone had more up to date information.

How hard is it to get hormonal birth control at the pharmacy without a prescription?

As long as you know which one you use, it's not hard at all. Just ask for it.
To be sure the formula is the exact same as what you were prescribed for back home, I would get your doctor from back home to write down the active ingredients for you to show the pharmacist. That's what I did and it was the same, for Yasmin.

I did the same with Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, but writing down just the drugs didn't work, they kept trying to give me the wrong kind. Eventually I figured out the equivalent Argentine brand and was able to get that.

Sgarlow, what is the equivalent brand to Orth Tri Cyclen Lo in Argentina?

You can get pretty much any prescription medicine without a prescription in Argentina as long as you know what you want.

I use yasminelle by Bayer, it's the equivalent to yazmin
