Best way to mail a letter to the USA?

What is the best way to mail a letter to the USA? I have only used DHL and FedEx here.
 
If it's just a "letter" and not really worth the extra expense, go ahead and try the Argentine postal system. I've heard of much better success regarding sending mail abroad versus receiving mail in Argentina.
 
yes, it's a letter, lol.. i hate dealing with snail mail.

is there 1 main post office or how does it work here?
 
take it to a post office and ask for simple or certificado(sure post,allegedly)last time I posted to UK it was 4 pesos and 10 pesos respectively
 
Look for the Correro. (Might have missed spelled that) The letter I mailed to US was 4 pesos and 90 centavos and three pages long. It got there quickly two weeks, faster than mailing it from Chicago.
