Which area? In Zona Norte (the area to the north of the city of Buenos Aires, where a lot of expats live), the Austin bilingual school (https://www.austinebs-ah.edu.ar/) has a good reputation. The catchment area would be from Zarate to Ing. Maschwitz, and from Pilar to Cardales, more or less.Hello,
We are loooking for a bilingual school for our 14 year old son. Is there any expat family who can give us some advice?
Thank you..
Thank you for your advices and suggestions. Our school choice drive our living location..I think you need to drill down more specifically with your enquiry. So far you haven’t even said whether it’s an enquiry specific to Buenos Aires or Argentina more generally.
Whilst it is likely obvious to you that there are far more bilingual schools in Buenos Aires than elsewhere in the country there are also options in other locations.
Let’s say you are interested in Buenos Aires then it’s a very big city hence a location-specific question will yield more help.
Most but by no means all of the better known bilingual schools are located in the northern reaches of Buenos Aires and indeed some of them are strictly-speaking outside of the city limits. Two very well known schools in Olivos spring to mind for example; Northlands and St Andrews Scot’s School;
So here is a question…
Does your living location drive your school choice or does your school choice drive your living location?
I think that’s a decent starting point for us to advise a little more.
Best wishes
This is a complicated request. What it sounds like you are asking is the best bang for your buck. Meaning, the highest recommended school for the a tuition that is in your budget. Nobody here knows what your budget is. To do this anlaysis, with no external consideration to living arrangements, you would need to simply look up the best schools and contact that each individually to find out the monthly tuition cost. But you can't stop there, because living costs will vary around each school, which will skew your data. But it's probably a good start for you.Hi Stantucker.
I mean bilingual. I guess we can not afford the tuition fees for the international ones..Our son speaks both English and Spanish. My enquiry is specific to Buenos Aires.
