Building Gas Shutoff For One Month... Estimate....??

Well I found this:

Sometimes I get the urge to live in the city closer to where the action is, but apartment living sure has its down sides. :p

Actually in the summer there's no need for cold showers as long as you have a balcony, a tin bucket, and some sun. My grandfather was too cheap to have his water heater fixed so often when we'd visit we would have to resort to heating water in a bucket on the terrace, carrying it down 2 flights of stairs, and sponge bathing in the shower. You'd be surprised at how far a bucket or two of water will go. On a hot sunny day the water will get hot enough that will probably need to add cold water. Wash hair separately over the sink with cold water.

The Landlord offered an electric one plate heater for mate  checking on electric Generator for the Summer  Only $6000 pesos...!

Coto have some fairly basic table top electric ovens on special at the moment

Let's face it whether it's -15 or +55 c being without gas is a BITCH! In other countries, these problems are resolved very quickly but here 3-5 mths come on!
I've been without a telephone line since last last week not as drastic as no water, gas or electricity but still a royal pain. I don't know what the solution is but it is apparent that those here don't know either!
