Bus Ticket/card Help Please

Hello All,

I'm trying to buy a bus ticket from BA to Asuncion but I am low on Argentine Pesos waiting for a Xoom transfer to come in. I was thinking about buying a ticket with my US credit card from Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion. Can they charge my card in Paraguayan Guarini or will I be charged at the official Argentine peso rate? Do you know a better way to do this? Thanks a bunch!

I've used plataforma 10 without issues. You will be charged at the official rate if you buy online.

Just go to Retiro or one of the many offices in person to take advantage of the blue rate if you can.

If you are traveling abroad, remember that you must be an Argentine resident to purchase tickets in pesos. Otherwise, you must pay for them in dollars.
