Hello expats,

I am looking for advice from fellow BA entrepreneurs. How have you found the most success in advertising your new businesses?

Sadly, none whatsoever.
I have a PC shop in Olivos and at first I advertised in several local rags. Not a bean.
Word of mouth, people passing the shop and flyers sent out seem to do the trick.

Depends on the business. I have seen a lot of success with Facebook.

I think steveinbsas answered this in another post quite succinctly, first answer why would anyone want to do bisiness with you. Secondly, incorporate this into your marketing plan. Develop your existing contacts and customers, traditionally existing customers are only targeted as a last resort instead of on a continual basis, not necessarily to try to keep selling but developing a lasting prescence in their minds. Examine any possibilities of aligning yourself with mutually beneficial alliances.
Flyers are great, but it's a bit further down the hit list in my books
