[...] Is the Cafe Fundador you mention molido? (I suspect so if it comes in a box, but just verifying). cheers!
The grey/black box is granos and the red/black is molido. I have never tried the molido. The box is just for presentation (and maybe so it looks bigger). The beans are in a vacuum bag inside the box:

In LatAm, always buy the "granos" beans, least you know the shapes of coffee beans, not wanting having foreign things in your
" molido!
 
Establecimiento general de café rivals (and in many cases bests) Starbucks for quality. Unfortunately they're also around the same price. The reality is that high quality beens command a premium, and are priced in dollars and get subject to large duties before entering a very non competitive market.

Starbucks is marking the high price and the relatively small demand for premium coffee keeps the few other options fairly close by.
