Those who have been around for a decade or more may recall the lovely Harry Cipriani restaurant that used to be on the ground floor, entrance on Posadas, of Patio Bullrich. It was tremendously expensive but very special. Cipriani later added a cafe inside Patio Bullrich on the Libertador side. The pastry was extraordinary - the most delicious cakes and pies were some of the very best I have ever eaten, even in Vienna. Unfortunately both closed a long time ago. I find pastry in BA invariably poor but I keep hoping that I'll find some place that offers something really good. Any suggestions?
