Does anyone know of any restaurants with play areas? We discovered them in Calafate, and haven't run into any here (though we haven't looked very hard...).

depends where are you based?we are in san isidro and there are quite a few around here, where we take our young boys

And there was me thinking you were talking about The Padres from San Diego - Such a shame... ;)

There is a lovely one on the corner of, i think, julian alvarez and Soler. Very close to Plaza Guadalupe in Palermo Viejo. It is a lovely cafe with big long tables perfect for families and a big indoor play area for the little ones to have fun with a big window so you can keep an eye on them. Have fun.

Oporto, corner of Scalabrini Ortiz and Paraquay. Great family restaurant with good food. And big supervised play area.

McDonads and Burger King have them, I know they're not "restaurants" but the play areas are good. Galerias Pacifico on Florida and Cordoba downtown have one with lego and drawing stuff in the food court.

In Caballito a place called Mangiata has one, and I think all their sister restaurants do as well. It's also one of my favorite restaurants for pastas (you must try the homemade fettuccine with salsa CREMA, to die for!)

Mangiata: Corner of Angel Gallardo and Valentin Virasoro-- http://www.guiaoleo.com.ar/restaurantes/Mangiata-758

Also I just noticed Guia Oleo has a category, "Juegos para chicos," maybe you can search by that.

This is very helpful. Thanks! We live in Palermo Hollywood, so if anyone knows one there, all the better. But it's hardly the most family oriented part of town...
