Skype here, too. Toll free numbers are free, and calls to landlines and cell phones ridiculously cheap.

For those who prefer free options -- Echo devices (e.g. Echo Show) as well as Cortana devices (Harman Kardon Invoke) come with free unlimited calls to North American numbers

For some reason Google Voice not working for me. I've signed-up and loaded my contacts but all that happens is buffering when I try to call someone. I'll do some more research on it; thanks...

Are you putting +1 in front of the numbers? Mine acts like it will call without it but it never actually connects. Putting the +1 makes the calls connect.

Yes putting +1 in front and doesn't work either. Only one of my contacts doesn't use internet so no big expense using Skype. Though I think it might be a good ideal to have another service as a back-up which is why I was interested in getting GoogleVoice. Thanks again !!
