Is ir possible to dial an 800 telephone number in the U.S. from my Telefonica land line phone? The cost of the call doesn't matter.

I know you were being facetious about knowing only three words in Spanish (and it make me laugh), but the use of these terms where I live is actually quite rare

Not many of the Argentines around here use the taxi and even even fewer use the word Okay (O.K.). Perhaps that because there aren't any taxis in Punta Alta. All of the cars for hire are remises with set rates. At least no one can say they have ever been overcharged because of q fast meter.

You can call toll-free numbers from here, but they will be charged the regular rate. When you dial 1 800 there's a recording in Spanish explaining this.
