I don´t understand paying an entrance fee when you go to buy stuff. For tourism info all of the provinces (and some major cities, like Mar del Plata) have "casas" where you can drop in and ask them anything tourism or business related. They will be happy to help.

I agree. It's like paying an entrance fee to the supermarket.

They do it to discourage people with no money from accessing the venue just for the samples.

Given how crowded it was with an entrance fee, I don't want to know how it would look if its for free. That being said, I think the offer was quite weak and I wouldn't go there again; to buy local products, one can go to a farmers market and to eat some of the local dishes, fairs like Masticar are better imo.

Where can i find a list of farm markets in san Isidro and whereabouts?
