Someone just told that even with the restrictions you can buy up to 10,000 pesos worth of dollars at the airport. True or not?

Further to that. I've got a bunch of Apple stuff to sell and a trustworthy buyer who will pay pesos for the lot of it, at around 5 pesos per dollar value. Do you guys think I should do this, considering there's reports of buying dollars in the black market for 5.8 pesos per dollar?

Insist on dollars. You won't be able to buy dollars at the airport.

Check your dollars very carefully.

I have a friend who sold 3 iPads, for a cool US$3,000 in fake US$100 notes.

You will NOT get your money's work accepting Pesos, unless you plan to be here for a while USING those pesos in Argentina.
