Car Rental in BA?

I'm looking to rent a biggish car to drive all my stuff to Cordoba from BA.

Does anyone have any experience to share about which companies suck, which are good, potential scams, etc? Any recommendations overall?

Is an international driver's license sufficient to do so?

I've rented many times from Budget on Libertador and Cerrito using a U.S. passport and Cali. drivers Lic. ... always a perfect experience ...
