My guests asked me what time the casas de cambio open. Does anyone know? Also, I heard some of them were shut down, so I'd appreciate any recommendations from recent experience. Thanks!

If your guests want to buy pesos, there are other ways.
Casas de cambio are having a very hard time at the moment.
To say they are being persecuted would be an understatement.
I know this because my wife audits a well known one in micro centro and a week doesn't go by when AFIP or Banco Central are not crawling all over them.
In a word, the govt wants them out.

I really don't get how they even pay the rent. The ones in my neighborhood used to be packed and now they are always completely empty when I pass by.

I have one in microcentro mitre & florida mas o menos. 9-18hrs.
