Cats For Adoption

Incidentally, does anyone know how I can adopt a kitten here? We searched both online and offline but two weeks later still no luck. It shouldn't be this hard, should it, adopting a cat in Argentina?

Jurmento and cabildo (in front of the bookstore) on most weekends and weekdays has some people adopting out cats and dogs.

There are various animal rescue associations throughout the city. They usually publish their rescues online on Facebook and tend to operate in limited barrios to facilitate keeping contact with the new family. Here you are some:

Hello All,
BLACK FEMALE KITTY FOR ADOPTION 5 - 6 months old
Long time lurker on this community but as a guest... finally caved in and signed up.
On Sunday March 19th I found a black female kitty 5 - 6 months old approx. in front of my apt building 2 blocks from the Universidad de Palermo. I was out on my balcony when I think I saw a man throw the kitty under a parked car and keep walking... not sure if I saw this correctly so I don't think she is lost. I already have 2 kitties of my own and can not keep her. She is really sweet, loves to play and cuddle. I have posted signs and have been asking around. Also I have sent a few emails to rescue places and am waiting for them to get back to me. If anyone is interested you can PM me and I can send videos and photos. If you like I can arrange a date and time for you to come see her. If someone wants to foster that is also great. Any ideas welcome.
