This much is true. I'll refrain from comment on the rest as opinions vary. it would be an interesting philosophical point to discuss that all Western governments today are in thrall -- to varying extents -- to finance capital generally, and to bankers specifically.

Exactly. The West is owned by private bankers via the central banks of the respective countries. Elections are a complete sham. The only real power is the money power, with media control a close second in my opinion. They are impoverishing the West while consolidating power through their control of finance.
