We are spending the month of December in Buenos Aires before moving on to Uruguay for the remainder of the summer.
We're considering how to spend Christmas. Are many restaurants open on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day? Of course we can always cook at our apartment, but would like to go out for at least one nice dinner.
Also curious if there are expat gatherings in BA that attract older people--e.g. 55+. Many of the postings for events I've seen appear to be primarily aimed at much younger people.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
