It may not be related to the poster’s case but to share a case I witnessed; a permanante holder for more than 2 years, married to an Argentine and has Argentine kids becomes a citizen a lot faster even though many paperwork requirements not met.
Hi nikad, do you know if the process is the same if applying from the interior (Tucumán specifically)? I see that the form has the address as CABA.You are going to need to have, scan and send to [email protected]
- DNI or passport
- Domicile certificate issued by city Police ( up to 5 days old )
- Original birht certificate, apostilled, translated into Spanish by sworn translator and legalized by Colegio de Traductores Publicos.
- Your Argentine wife or children birth certificates if married to an Arg or have Arg children.
- This form https://old.pjn.gov.ar/publico/formulario.cartas.de.ciudadania.pdf fully completed and has to match your docs.
They will email you with the address and time to present all the originals and get it started.
I believe the Fed Govt has now changed the entire process and is now being handled Migraciones. You may want to check on their website.Hi nikad, do you know if the process is the same if applying from the interior (Tucumán specifically)? I see that the form has the address as CABA.

I am no fan of Migraciónes, and so this is fine with me.
