La Ciudad debate 2023

La Televisión Pública transmite en vivo el debate con la participación de los candidatos Jorge Macri (Juntos por el Cambio), Leandro Santoro (Unión por la Patria), Ramiro Marra (La Libertad Avanza) y Vanina Biasi (Frente de Izquierda).

The Public Television channel will broadcast live a special program 'The City Debates 2023' with the participation of the candidates Jorge Macri (JuntosXCambio), Leandro Santoro (Unión por la Patria), Ramiro Marra (La Libertad Avanza) and Vanina Biasi (Frente Izquierda). Debate City 2023 will be moderated by various journalists from television media, including Silvia Fernández and Pablo Caruso, representing the public channel....
The debate will focus on the management proposals of the candidates for the position of Head of Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in 2024. It will have six blocks that will have as their axes the following analysis topics: Autonomy, Political System, Justice and Security; Education, Health, Culture, Human Development, Gender and Diversity; Housing, Environment and Productive Development and Infrastructure, Urban Management and Urban Code.

That picture above just made me laugh. The three men are shaking hands, all members of the casta political, and Biasi the Socialist is standing there with her hands behind her back, thinking, "When the revolution comes, we will stand all three of you against a wall, and I really hope they let me command the firing squad..."

The look on her face is worth a thousand words.

Debate porteño: un festival de chicanas y la única cosa en que casi todos acordaron

Los principales temas urbanos que abordaron fueron el de la inseguridad, los piquetes y el código urbano.Hubo pocas propuestas concretas y gran parte del tiempo se fue en acusaciones personales.

....There were few concrete proposals and much of the time was spent on personal accusations. A "chicana" fest....An issue that was conspicuously left out of the debate was the growing number of people living on the streets and the insecurity in official shelters, which makes a large part of why these people prefer to be outdoors....Instead of taking advantage of the time on proposals to improve the lives of the neighbors, the debate abounded in personal discussions about “Marra's business”, in phrases such as “the love and sensitivity that the City deserves” or the final excuse by Milei's candidate : “I couldn't develop my proposals today because they limited my time. I'm going to upload them to social media."

I concur....after spending the 90 minutes watching the debate!

Elecciones 2023: seguí el minuto a minuto del debate porteño

Código urbano, educación y seguridad, los temas mas calientes de la agenda. Marra se mostró agresivo y planteó su competencia con Santoro en busca de entrar al balottage. Santoro pidió el voto a los seguidores de Lousteau. Macri se mostró sereno, pero esquivo. Y Biasi, del Frente de Izquierda...
