Yes, it was fun. The cookies were legendary, and so was the entertainment. It was great to see you all.

Talking to Howard was amazingly informative, apologies if I ignored the rest of you somewhat. I was just very pleased to meet an expat with 35 years experience here, and he was willing to talk, so I was willing to listen. It's not every day you meet someone with such a wealth of experience to share.

And yeah, he's a boomer, with boomer attitudes on a lot of things, but I was still willing to listen without serious demur, simply for what he had to teach. Think about the things that guy has seen in his life. He was here during the dictatorship, and he remembers those days. Talking to him, I could easily see myself 20 years from now.
