Coming soon, volcano permitting

I joined today, I found baexpats on a thread on TripAdvisor.com. My first visit to Buenos Aires was as a cadet on the S.S. Mormactide in December 1962. I met my wife to be in Perito Moreno glaciar in 1982. We live near Houston, Texas but have had an apartment in Caballito since 1984. My retirement plan is to max out all of my credit cards here in the U.S. and escape to Argentina We were supposed to fly to EZE last Thursday, then rescheduled to Monday (yesterday) and are now scheduled to fly on Friday. If that flight is canceled, I will have to make plans for a later date, and hope the volcano becomes dormant.
