Lee,
Just wanted to thank you for posting the recommendation for Ricardo. I read your message in the midst of a very untimely blacked out screen laptop debacle and immediately followed your advice. Really making the effort to investigate the problem Ricardo offered me a price in advance of AR$300 for the part and fix whereas my only other option of DELL was coming to AR$1200. Also even more importantly he could sort the problem and replace the very random broken part within 10 days, Dell estimated it would take 6 weeks to get the part to me.
He explains everything up front and you do not get any of that sinking feeling that 'I am going to get ripped off here' which can often be par for the course when getting services in Buenos Aires.
I can now echo your words and whole heartedly recommend Ricardo ( [email protected] ) for any of your computer problems.
Its really good when you meet professionals that you can depend on.
