Could be a bumpy night!

It's very hot, very humid, with very low barometric pressure. The wind is slowly starting to pick up. Back in the home state, this would be prime tornado weather. Could be interesting....

Desperate for the storm to start - although I just had all the glass in my claraboya replaced from the last hail storm and doubt the insurers will pay again so soon...

Argentina is the only country outside of the USA to experience up to F5 Tornadoes . There was a famous case of the town of San Justo Sante Fe that was completely decimated in 1973 with a F5 Tornado .

If you look at this image there is a very strong chance of Tornadoes . The situation is serious .

Yikes! Look at the radar map in post # 3 now!

I hope anyone spending Christmas eve in Mar del Plata is already there.

Last week I did some house calls to fix clients' computers, some of whom had been hit hard during the last storm and lost a lot of their kit due to the storm.
Tonight we're off to the outlaws for Xmas Eve dinner, which luckily isn't far away and I'm making damn sure that EVERYTHING is disconnected.
Even Fibertel's cable to the modem.

Spot the supercell:

Thanks for the update. We are heading to the coast in a few days, so it would be great to hear how things are around Pinamar. It's looking pretty scary.

This is how I feel as we don't have aircon lol:
