Flopy is often short for Florencia. :)

Flopy (Florencia Tesouro) is a vedette from Tinelli's Showmatch... I'm not sure why she'd be the successor to Cristina over say, Florencia de la V.
Though I do wonder which of the three has a higher percentage of plastic! :p

Cristina does have a daughter named Florencia that is studying in New York... but she's not the blonde bimbo that comes up under the Google search. ;)

(Misspelling English names or terms - or misusing them - is a pet peeve of mine! I don't know why they do it so often here.) :p
