CRANBERRIES! (arandanos rojos)

Looking for cranberries... I remember seeing some canned ocean spray at jumbo a few years ago, and dried craisins a few months ago, but I checked it out and no luck.. anyone see it?

Haven't seen either in over a year...

I have one can of ocean spray cranberries left. I would suggest Carrefour...they cater more to American holiday items than Jumbo's these days...please post if you locate either.

I looked all over Carrefour in Belgrano today, and didn't find any.

I'm planning on using the same recipe but with blueberries instead of cranberries. I use a really simple one that is pretty much 1 to 1 to 4; one cup water (can also use orange juice), one cup sugar, 4 cups berries, plus orange zest and/or lemon juice for a kick. You can also add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and/or allspice.

I think this would be good with any kind of berry so get creative!

I also got cranberry sauce at Jumbo last year, this year no luck, our Carrefour also doesn't have it. They had the turkey bird and a couple of weeks ago they had canned yams so I grabbed them. Everything else I'm making from scratch....
