While 3 months ago it was still possible to exit the boat, rush to the ATM (Discount Bank) & find only 1 or 2 people in front of you, now there are plenty of Argentineans as well, with cards of all their friends, so the wait can be very long, and probability is higher to have a problem with the ATM itself.

So have some Uruguayan pesos ready, exit the boat among the first, take a cab and rush!

I had no problem in December. That was then, of course, and this is now.

Has anyone tried the ATMs in Colonia during the past 10 days? How long for the wait at ATMs?

Thanks
