Connaxis is seeking for a Chief Technology Officer / Chief Operating Officer to coordinate a variety of interesting web development projects for international clients. We are looking for a person with extensive software industry experience to plan, organize and lead new projects, performing as an analytical liaison between Development, Design, Project Management and Sales.
As CTO / COO, you will be responsible for the Delivery of all Projects. You will be leading the Web Development, Design and Project Management teams in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to develop innovative web solutions to clients' specifications, combining analytical and planning skills with the drive and intelligence required to coordinate internal performance in order to meet the client's expectations. This is a Senior Management role, for which we seek an experienced manager with a strong background in the Web Development Industry. Experience with quality standards & certification is required.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficient and effective delivery of development projects. On time, on budget and within specification.
2. Direct responsibility over Creativity, Development and Project Management.
3. Quality assurance and improving operational procedures.
4. Managing IT expectations, operations and delivery under Agile methodology.
5. Analyzing requirements and designing software architecture accordingly
6. Being part of Connaxis Management Team.
7. Preparing proposals, overviews and estimations for new projects/requirements.
8. Defining resources and schedule for software implementation together with the managers of every area and the lead project manager.
9. Efficiently identifying and solving technical project issues.
10. Directing and overseeing operations and managing conflicts within the different groups.
Qualifications:
1. At least 4 years of Management experience in Web Development Projects.
2. Excellent programming skills, preferably with PHP/JavaScript/MySQL
3. Broad IT vision - to be able to make strategic choices regarding IT environments and developments.
4. Excellent skills in problem solving, and transparency in arising issues.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Social intelligence.
6. Organized, detail oriented, focused on clients' satisfaction.
7. Strong "Hands-on" mentality, proactivity.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Fluent English.
10. Experience with software development processes (e.g. Agile).
11. University degree preferred.
