Agent Sales and Student Advisor position

We are a fast-growing International Education organization, based in Buenos Aires, which offers high quality Spanish educational programs, from weekly courses to study abroad programs to volunteer, internship, and TEFL courses, in Latin America. As we are a company that is continuously expanding, we are constantly on the lookout for highly motivated experienced people to add to our ever growing team, as such, we have a possible opening for an Agent Sales and Student Advisor. It will be a full time role, based at our Buenos Aires office with all interviews being conducted in Buenos Aires – please only contact if you are currently living in Buenos Aires!

JOB DUTIES

• Customer Service and Student Advising (in-bound calls and emails)
• Proactive Sales to international third party providers
• Customer registration and payment processing
• Descriptive writing tasks including the company website

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous work experience in Customer Service
• Previous work experience in Sales (ideally proactive sales)
• Languages: Native English speaker
Proficient in Spanish (intermediate level)
• BA, preferably in a Business related field though other fields will be accepted
• Good knowledge and familiarity with Buenos Aires, other parts of Latin America a plus
• Minimum one year stay in Argentina

On leaving school I joined the Army Catering Corps (A.C.C.) as a junior leader. I spent 3 years in college at St Omer barracks in Aldershot. During my time in the army I was chosen twice to compete in the "HOTEL OLYMPIA", regarded as a benchmark for the catering industry. Was awarded first in 1984 and second in 1985 for Fresh meat preparation. On leaving the Army had gained journeyman certificate allowing me to teach butchery. The M.L.C. then offered me the position in Gibraltar.
