Democrats In Argentina - Group Forming

Is that a poll like hilLIARy clinton +9 on Nov 7, 2016 or another poll in 2016 saying Trump had a 5% chance of winning? I'm just asking for a friend.

Maybe if you get your information from Fox News or CNN?

Polls at the time you cited (Nov 2016) had her winning the popular vote by 2-3million but probably losing the electoral college -exactly what has happened.

As always, reactionaries in this thread showing how profoundly ignorant they are. Those republican tears are going to taste amazing once Bernie wins and restores FDR's vision.

Criticizing Israel Shouldn't Be Confused With anti-Semitism, Sanders Tells Jewish Supporter

'Israel has every right to live in peace and security, but so does the Palestinian people,' Democratic presidential hopeful tells town hall meeting

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said on Tuesday that he does not think criticism of Israel's government should be conflated with anti-Semitism.

As somebody who is proudly Jewish, to be critical of a right-wing Netanyahu government in Israel is not to be anti-Semitic,” Senator Sanders told a town hall meeting in New Hampshire. He added that “the fault is not all with Israel” when it comes to the conflict, and that the current Palestinian government is “corrupt.”

Sanders addressed the issue after a Jewish supporter of his, who was likely affiliated with the left-wing Jewish group IfNotNow, asked him about his opposition to Israeli occupation of the West Bank.

“It’s a funny thing. All that I have ever said about this issue is that U.S. foreign policy should be even-handed. That’s all,” Sanders said. “We respect Israel. It has every right to live in peace and security, but so do the Palestinian people.”

Mango is indeed a fruit. Polls are worthless, as for example, uncle bernie simply has a zero chance of winning. You do know he was an unemployed bum until into his 40's when he fell into the political pie and festered there since? For a real laugh and not to further mock your lack of brains, just go to Youtube and peruse clips of Nov 8, 2016 election coverage when not too smart people, much like you, said (up until about 10pm that night), Trump had NO chance of winning. I suggest you buy butt salve and apply it liberally to soothe your delicate ego.

Lol this is like talking to a wall. Have you entered the link? Or at least do you even know what a polling average is? "Polls are worthless", yet FiveThirtyEight correctly predicted everything. Dread it, run from it. Destiny still arrives my duderino :) I suggest you stop consuming Fox & CNN, they are doing a great job at keeping you ignorant.

Why Bernie Sanders Is Absolutely Correct About the Washington Post—and Corporate Media Overall

The fact that cable news pundits, anchors, and reporters rushed to vehemently defend corporate media against Sanders' comments is illustrative of the dynamic. It makes you wonder where career self-interest ends and sincere delusion begins.
bernie_sanders_free_press_corporate_media.jpg

Many decades ago, the great media critic George Seldes observed: "The most sacred cow of the press is the press itself." That remains true today.

Bernie Sanders set off the latest round of outraged denial from elite media this week when he talked to a crowd in New Hampshire about the tax avoidance of Amazon (which did not pay any federal income tax last year). Sanders went on to say: "I wonder why the Washington Post—which is owned by Jeff Bezos, who owns Amazon—doesn't write particularly good articles about me. I don't know why. But I guess maybe there's a connection."

Sanders has fought explicitly and effectively to raise the wages of Amazon workers as well as millions of others. Yet the mass-media pretense is that the financial interests of the Post's owner have no effect on the newspaper's coverage of Sanders.

Corporate denial is the name of that media game. Usually, expressed denials aren't necessary. But there's nothing usual about Bernie Sanders, who's been willing to call out the biases and blind spots of corporate media since he entered politics.

Calm your sphincter mango, for only those hoping Trump won't win in 2020 put credence in most polls. Again, I suggest butt salve, applied liberally, to soothe your fragile ego. In the meantime, you shouldn't post when drunk.

The last few days have proven the value of socialism (and idiots like bernie). Socialism is for losers and people who have done poorly in life, but want other people to make up for it.

Bernie Sanders Says 'We Will Go to War Against White Nationalism and Racism'

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders told a group of people Saturday that if elected president in 2020, he will "go to war" with white nationalism and racism. Sanders said he would use every tool at his disposal, including executive orders.

Speaking to a crowd of mostly African Americans at the Young Leaders Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, Sanders described his family background as being Jewish and from Poland.

"My father's whole family was wiped out by Hitler and his white nationalism," said Sanders, who is one of many Democratic presidential hopefuls in 2020. "Too many people have fought over the years, too many people have died against racism to let it resurface and flourish in America."

Then he made his declaration: "We will go to war against white nationalism and racism in every aspect of our lives," he said.

Sanders Unveils Plan to End Cash Bail, Ban Private Prisons, and 'Fundamentally Transform' US Criminal Justice System

bernie_sanders_18.jpg

"If we stand together, we can eliminate private prisons and detention centers. No more profiteering from locking people up."

To remedy this dysfunctional and devastating system, Sanders' platform—detailed on his website—calls for:
  • A ban on private prisons as part of a broader effort to "end profiteering in our criminal justice system";
  • An end to cash bail, which traps poor Americans in a cycle of debt;
  • Halting excessive sentencing "with the goal of cutting the incarcerated population in half";
  • Transformation of policing by ensuring oversight and accountability for law enforcement, banning use facial recognition software by law enforcement, and ending "programs that provide military equipment to local police";
  • Abolishing the death penalty;
  • Legalization of marijuana and erasure of past marijuana convictions; and
  • An end to the criminalization of addiction by funding adequate treatment for those addicted to opioids.

I've a better chance of being elected president (which is ZERO) than uncle bernie, the deranged socialist who NEVER worked a job other than politics (in his mid 40's). You delusion leftist buffoons are in serious denial. But...you're good for laughs.

Nice cut and paste mango. You have that technique down well.

How about some independent thought every once and a while? Supported by facts would be even better, but probably too much to expect.

It's obvious that Miss mango, the fruit, is not the brightest bulb in a chandelier. Her lights seem to have been out for quite a while.

Bernie takes his revolution to the streets
He's enlisting his massive volunteer base to pressure companies to change their labor practices — and joining several protests himself.

In May, an Illinois man emailed [email protected] with a plea: Graduate students at the University of Chicago were going on strike, and he wanted Bernie Sanders’ presidential team to help.

“I’ve been super inspired by seeing the Bernie campaign support similar actions,” he said.

A few days later, Sanders’ aides obliged, and then some: They used his massive email list to target his fans in the area, asking them to stand on the picket line with students. Some 100,000 texts and emails went out from the campaign, and hundreds of people showed up.

The Vermont senator’s team was ready to act quickly on the stranger’s request because it dovetailed with its plan to harness his state-of-the-art digital infrastructure and grassroots army of volunteers to keep Sanders’ promise to help American workers from the campaign trail. While other candidates have also stood on picket lines and used their email lists to raise money for progressive groups, the scale of Sanders’ efforts appears to be unparalleled in the 2020 field.

His moves also serve an important campaign purpose: to make clear to voters what Sanders means when he calls for a “political revolution.” His advisers acknowledge that the concept is fuzzy to some Democrats and they need to clearly show how he would usher in a revolt from the White House if elected president.

Anthony Scaramucci: The Left Should 'Deprogram' Trump Supporters Like They're in a 'Cult'

anthony-scaramucci.png

Anthony Scaramucci says that the political left should view the president's loyal supporters as members of a cult that need to be deprogrammed.

During an Fox News interview Sunday with Howard Kurtz, the one-time White House director of communications warned, "We recognize that the president is a clear and present danger to the American society—the American culture,"

"There are many people inside the White House and in the Cabinet. I would ask the left to... create an off-ramp for those people," he added. "Because when you're trying to deprogram people from a cult, one of the first things you have to do is allow them to change their mind."

Although Scaramucci donated substantially to Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and has defended the president in the past—even after he was fired from his brief tenure at the White House—the financier has grown increasingly critical since Trump's racist attacks against four progressive Democratic congresswomen last month.

Scaramucci, who long voiced support for Trump based due to his economic record, has now become one of his harshest critics, warning that he is attempting to divide the nation counter to American ideals.
