Did Trump save Venezuela?

Cuban support for the Maduro regime is not free, nor ideological. Maduro sends daily 100,000 barrels of oil to Cuba. She uses some and sells the rest, as in the URSS times. The failed communist regime in Havana needs a backer, or it will fold.
Anyway, this may give an opportunity to Macri. He may declare that when Maduro falls, he may send the equivalent of the subsidy to Cuba(in US dollars) to Venezuela, in food, medical drugs, etc,.This will kill two birds in one shot:
A) Will increase our exports in about 1,460,000,000 USD a year
B) Will send the Cuban regine into a terminal crisis.

At this point Maduro is desperate to keep the few allies he has so he continues to send oil (for which he receives in return goods and services but not cash) including oil he has purchased from abroad since Venezuela's petroleum production is now down to 1/3 of its previous levels. See this Reuters article: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...s-foreign-oil-to-subsidize-cuba-idUSKCN1IG1TO
Ideology has always been a factor just as it was when the USSR subsidized Cuba.

What's your opinion on Maduro and how he's running Venezuela? Good, bad or so-so? And why?

We can all go to telesur's YouTube page and watch their videos ourselves. But an opposing viewpoint might bring about an interesting discussion.

Just my 2 cents!

One must be blind to say that Maduro is running Venezuela, the video attached is a joke. The economy there has already collapsed and millions of people fled the country and millions more wish they could do the same if they had the resources and knew where to go. Maduro at this point is in par with Kim Jung Un the supreme leader of North Korea where people drop like flies and have no future for their children not to mention the complete suppression through his authoritarian military rule. Maduro will step down sooner or later and will be replaced by a democratically elected leader chosen by majority of Venezuelans themselves who will then receive financial support from the foreign countries in order to start rebuilding their broken country.
