Does anybody know how much it costs to get a divorce in Argentina? We were married down there and I am just wondering if it will cost less to do it up here in the US or do it down there. There are no kids involved and not really any goods or assets involved either. I know that they just passed new laws down there making it easier to divorce. So if someone knows, let me know! Probably cheaper in the US depending on where you live/how amicable it is. If neither of you are contesting the divorce, all you're out is court fees is the US. The Arg/US couple I know that got divorced in Texas only paid about 200 USD if I recall correctly - no lawyers - just filed the papers themselves - and it was a really quick process.
